Mixed use building located at a unique lot located between two big avenues: Boulevard Artigas, North-South axe of the city, and Ponce Avenue. The project combines various programmes, responding to the complexities and singularities of each of them, as well as to their assembling, creating a single unity.

 

Two completely different situations are identified with respect to the site where the building is set, one façade overlooking a high-scale and high-speed avenue (Boulevard Artigas), and the other one facing a slightly less active avenue (Ponce Avenue). The part of the building facing Boulevard Artigas shows a simple geometry, a single big access, while the façade towards Ponce Avenue articulates its scale, generating spaces and intermediate scales between the building and the neighbourhood.
